I thoroughly recommend Raj Nair. I had a Prostate Cancer diagnosis and from the very first consultation I felt totally at ease and looked after by him and the team both physically and psychologically. We had detailed open discussions about my course of treatment which ultimately concluded with him removing my Prostate. The procedure, follow up care and consultations have been fantastic. My first visit to the Urology Department at Guys Hospital, I met Mr Nair, a very nice gentleman. I know this because, he shows attentiveness, care, and understanding when answering my questions and concerns. He knew I was nervous and reassured me and did it again before I went into theatre. Regarding to treatment options for my diagnosis and aftercare after surgery, Mr. Nair was very informative with detailed information. The surgery went well with no complications. I stayed in the hospital for two days. The nurses were great and I was checked on by one of the doctors from Mr Nair's Team. I am recovering really well, 6 days after surgery, I was able to stop taking painkillers and was able to walk to an appointment after 7 days. As I am here, the pain management before and after surgery was superb. My family and I are surprised by the rate of my recovery after doing a partial nephrectomy. I am so grateful and just want to say a huge thank you to Mr. Rajesh Nair for the wonderful job he has done. Thank you, Doctor, I will be forever grateful.
